Yesterday saw the de-stall of Aedas Presents Matt Robinson at Colmore Plaza.  Very sad to say goodbye to Will Von Hampton......

Now working towards the next Aedas Presents exhibition - Matthew Andrew on 14 July.

Aedas Presents in 2012 - Get involved!

Let's re-introduce you to Aedas Presents – a monthly arts exhibition held in Colmore Plaza in the heart of the city centre.  

As directors of the programme, Charlie and I have issued requests for proposals out to a select number of artists for our 2012 exhibition programme.  If you are interested in getting involved, please could submit a proposal to aedaspresents@aedas.com

Aedas Presents: The Winners

A couple of weeks ago Aedas through a fundraising pub quiz in the office for friends and colleague to take part in.  The Aedas Presents team consisted of us, Kate and Charlie, plus Ben and Andy.

The first round didn't go so well...see above image for name change...

However - then the karaoke round kicked in and with Lady Gaga's Poker Face we slowly began to believe in ourselves...

with the final round but one being a guess the artist round - we were pretty much winners...

followed by a sing off by the two winning team captains, Kate saw us through to victory! The name was not ironic after all!

Matt’s work whisks together a violent harmony of mind bending puns associated with perception. Matt playfully borrows from a wide array of visual techniques associated with advertising, religious iconography, and many other sources which, take form into a one-off sculpture to be exhibited only this once.

Aedas Presents, in association with Rider Levett Bucknall, welcome you to join us at this exclusive invitation only preview show from 6 pm - 8 pm on Thursday 24 March 2011.
